This two-day marketplace & showcase will be housed in a single venue in Los Angeles, CA – at the NeueHouse Hollywood. It will not only bring together content creators, celebrity talents, brands, agencies, and publishers to forge content and media deals, but it will also serve as a forum for leaders to share insights and explore innovations that will advance the entire digital media and marketing landscape.

Before joining The Hollywood Reporter, Belloni was an attorney at an entertainment litigation firm in Los Angeles and served as a contributor to magazines including Esquire and Details. Belloni graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in political science and obtained a law degree from the University of Southern California School of Law, where he was a member of the USC Law Review.

Alana Calderone Polcsa, Senior Vice President of Brand Content and Partnerships at Warner Bros., oversees revenue strategy, business development and management of ancillary brand extensions for The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Ellen Digital Ventures, creating monetization streams across linear, digital and physical platforms.

Under her leadership, Alana transformed the business into a robust custom media and content group. She has driven the growth of the Ellen Digital Network as a premium digital destination for brands to reach and influence an audience of 304MM. Working closely with the Emmy Award-winning writing, producing, and creative teams at ELLEN, Alana leads the bicoastal integrations, e-commerce and ad sales departments, delivering clients with innovative and effective multi-platform solutions that drive business results.

Alana has architected and negotiated the ELLEN brand’s most influential deals, including the Beats Music partnership and marketing strategy, which launched the music streaming service during Super Bowl XLVIII and secured Ellen DeGeneres her first Super Bowl TV commercial. She also crafted the award-winning Cheerios campaign for One Million Acts of Good and most recently orchestrated a partnership with Spotify to create the platform’s first-ever media video hub.

Focused on new media growth initiatives, Alana plays an integral role in developing unique co-sell, performance and distribution partnerships across all media and platform partners and numerous tech start-ups. She also leads the development of The Ellen DeGeneres Show line extensions spanning to consumer products, publishing, talent, land-based and social gaming, as well as experiential events.

Named one of Adweek’s 2018 Young Influentials, Alana’s strategic management and growth of the team tripled revenues within the last five years and garnered 13 awards in branded entertainment, including four Clio Entertainment Awards. Alana was recently selected for the 2019 Clio Entertainment Awards Television/Streaming Executive Jury.

Sarah is currently Vice President, Johnson & Johnson Corporate Equity. In this role, Sarah develops the strategic direction and executes initiatives for the Johnson & Johnson enterprise brand equity.

Her work has included development of the Johnson & Johnson Purpose reflecting the company’s broad impact on human health and ensuring relevancy in a rapidly changing environment. This work built upon the Johnson & Johnson heritage as a baby company and reflects the company’s immense work to change the trajectory of health. The Johnson & Johnson Purpose was embedded into the strategic framework of the company, aligned senior leaders around a commonly shared future direction, and is reflected in all internal communication. Following strategic and internal alignment, Sarah led development of the external expression of the company’s Purpose through a new creative campaign and strategic sponsorships and initiatives that showcased the company’s impact.

As a demonstrable proof point of the Johnson & Johnson Purpose, Sarah led a team commissioning 5B, a documentary film relating the heroic work of nurses at San Francisco General Hospital at the height of the HIV crisis. The film was sold for broad distribution and was a Cannes Lions 2019 Grand Prix winner in Entertainment. The film was recognized for bravely telling a story aligned to the company’s mission and was utilized across Johnson & Johnson stakeholders to boldly reflect the company’s Purpose and values.

Prior to her current role, Sarah held a variety of marketing and communications position across multiple Johnson & Johnson business. Sarah has a track record of results, introducing new strategies and approaches that significantly advance business.

She has held positions as Vice President, Corporate Communication, with responsibility for equity communication and strategic initiatives. She was Vice President, Worldwide Communications and Franchise Marketing for the DePuy Franchise, building key strategies for external and internal communications globally, including issues management and the franchise’s first direct-to-consumer communication (advertising, public relations and internet).

Sarah also worked in the Johnson & Johnson Consumer and Personal Care Group. She began the global communications discipline, handling public relations, consumer promotions and professional marketing building integrated marketing and communications strategies.

She also was part of the start-up teams at Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, where she led the first customer-based marketing and communications uniting multiple J&J businesses. She also was a key member of the start-up team at Ortho Biotech, leading public relations, professional relations and direct-to-consumer marketing for ground breaking biotechnology products.

Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Sarah worked at a New York public relations firm on a variety of pharmaceutical and consumer health care accounts, as well as in several positions in hospital public relations and marketing.

Amanda de Cadenet is an entrepreneur, journalist, author, photographer and activist who advocates for equal rights by ensuring that diverse female identifying creatives are equally employed. She has had a lifelong career in the media, starting at age 15 in the UK, where she became only one of two women who hosted their own TV show. For more than 25 years, Amanda has used her platform in the spotlight to advocate for female representation, an issue that she, herself, still continues to face and overcome.

Amanda’s own experience with gender bias inspired her to executive produce and host The Conversation, a groundbreaking interview series featuring female thought-leaders and innovators, such as Hillary Clinton, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Zoe Saldana, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Silverman, Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga.

Amanda’s most recent endeavor is the creation of Girlgaze, a global online community that aims to close the gender gap one job at a time by providing paid jobs for a network of female-identifying and non-binary creatives. Considered “one of the most influential feminists of our time,” Amanda frequently collaborates with the likes of #MeToo and the Times Up organization around initiatives focused on ending sexual violence towards women.

Amanda is the host of Spotify podcast The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, and author of It’s Messy: On Boys, Boobs and Bad Ass Women, based on her TV Show.

Before joining Digitas, Donaton was Global Chief Content Officer at Interpublic Group’s UM and head of UM Studios, where he led a team of award-winning content strategists and producers around the globe who developed creative programs and innovative experiences for UM Studios clients, including Chrysler, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, BMW, Brown Forman, ExxonMobil and Sony. Prior to UM, Donaton founded Ensemble, an Interpublic Group content studio, where he served as CEO from 2009 till 2013, when he merged Ensemble into UM to form UM Studios.

Donaton coined the phrase “Madison & Vine”, and is the author of a book by the same name. The book helped launch the branded-content revolution by declaring that the entertainment and advertising industries needed to converge to survive in the age of digital storytelling.

Prior to joining Interpublic, Donaton served as publisher of Entertainment Weekly. Before that, he was at Advertising Age, where he served as its editor for more than a decade before becoming publisher. While at Advertising Age, Donaton oversaw the publication’s extension into digital media, the expansion of its conference business and the growth of its global presence.

Donaton’s multiple awards and accolades include being inducted into the Advertising Hall of Achievement, being honored as one of the “21 Most Intriguing People in Media” by Media Industry Newsletter, and being named to the Folio 40. As senior vice president of Marketing for Freeform, Tricia Melton leads the creative marketing vision for the network and spearheads the strategic execution of all marketing activities across linear and digital platforms. She also oversees all on-air and off-air marketing, in addition to integrated marketing, audience development, franchise and brand management, as well as promotional partnerships. She reports to Tom Ascheim, president, Freeform.

Melton arrived at Freeform after most recently serving as senior vice president of Entertainment Marketing and Branding for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) where she supervised high-profile, innovative and socially driven marketing campaigns including, but not limited to, TBS’ comedies “Cougar Town,” “Family Guy,” “American Dad,” and their late-night show “Conan.” Not only was Tricia a pivotal player in the TBS comedy-centric rebrand, she also led award-winning marketing initiatives for some of the biggest hits on cable, including “The Last Ship,” “Legends,” “The Closer,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” “Falling Skies,” “Major Crimes” and “Dallas” for TNT. She also led the brand strategy refresh for TNT as they refocused on drama.

Prior to Turner, Melton served as vice president of Marketing for Lifetime Television where she was responsible for all aspects of consumer, affiliate, ad sales and synergy marketing for Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network and Lifetime Real Women. Before Lifetime, Melton served as vice president of Marketing for Oxygen Media and developed the network’s brand strategy as well as the first ever Super Bowl ad completely targeted towards women, which won a Whitehouse Project Award for positive portrayals of women in the media.

Melton’s other positions included vice president of Marketing for Food Network where she oversaw all marketing initiatives, including branding and advertising, national consumer promotions and programming stunts; vice president of Marketing and Promotions for Channel One Network in New York; and the Whittle Educational Network, a division of Whittle Communications.

Melton holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Montevallo in Alabama and has advisory board positions with PromaxBDA, the Advertising Board, University of Georgia, Peabody School of Journalism, and Melinc.

As a child, Jen led an intense life of dedication, challenge and competition. She won the U.S. National Gymnastics Championship title in 1986, less than one year after having suffered a devastating injury at the 1985 World Championships. As a result, the U.S. Olympic Committee named her Gymnastics’ Athlete of the YearJennifer retired after eight years on the national team and went on to study at Stanford University.  In 2008, Sey released a memoir, “Chalked Up,” a New York Times E-Book Best Seller detailing her triumphs and struggles within the world of competitive gymnastics. She has published an Op-Ed in the New York Times and her writing has been featured in a variety of outlets as a leading voice in athlete advocacy, seeking to drive cultural and legal changes towards safety and athlete empowerment.

She is active as a special needs parent, dedicating her time to education, advocacy and fundraising for research as a National Board Member for Angelman Syndrome to benefit her daughter Emma who was diagnosed with the genectic syndrome. She also actively supports her son Quinn’s dream and Cocoa for the Cure initiative to raise money to fund research to find a cure for his sister Emma and all the “angels.”

As a child, Jen led an intense life of dedication, challenge and competition. Donaton also serves as the chief architect of the annual Digitas NewFront, the anchor event of the Digital Content NewFronts, of which Digitas is the only agency founding partner. Donaton’s thought leadership has been published in numerous media outlets including Fast Company, Adweek, and Ad Age, among others, and he is a frequent speaker at industry events, including VidCon and the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.

Before joining Digitas, Donaton was Global Chief Content Officer at Interpublic Group’s UM and head of UM Studios, where he led a team of award-winning content strategists and producers around the globe who developed creative programs and innovative experiences for UM Studios clients, including Chrysler, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, BMW, Brown Forman, ExxonMobil and Sony. Prior to UM, Donaton founded Ensemble, an Interpublic Group content studio, where he served as CEO from 2009 till 2013, when he merged Ensemble into UM to form UM Studios.

Donaton coined the phrase “Madison & Vine”, and is the author of a book by the same name. The book helped launch the branded-content revolution by declaring that the entertainment and advertising industries needed to converge to survive in the age of digital storytelling.

Prior to joining Interpublic, Donaton served as publisher of Entertainment Weekly. Before that, he was at Advertising Age, where he served as its editor for more than a decade before becoming publisher. While at Advertising Age, Donaton oversaw the publication’s extension into digital media, the expansion of its conference business and the growth of its global presence.

Donaton’s multiple awards and accolades include being inducted into the Advertising Hall of Achievement, being honored as one of the “21 Most Intriguing People in Media” by Media Industry Newsletter, and being named to the Folio 40. In 2013, Donaton served as president of the Branded Content & Entertainment jury at the prestigious Cannes Festival of Creativity.

Social is the New Reach: A Look at the Future of Digital Video Audience Measurement

2.5 billion viewers worldwide are consuming social video, generating trillion of views. But traditional audience measurement hasn't kept up with the increasingly fragmented and distributed video ecosystem. There are no standards of measurement to truly unlock the digital video economy. Tubular Labs created the first joint publisher-brand consortium (Global Video Measurement Alliance) to co-develop and establish new video standards, and will provide a preview of the key metrics being developed for audience reach (via de-duplicated unique viewers) and engagement (via minutes watched).
